Prayer request for my ### who is hurting

I request you to pay for my ### who is going through a breakup with his girlfriend... He is very depressed and suicidal... Please pray for God to bless him and help my ### out from this situation. He badly needs to be comforted, as he is hurting too much and not able to concentrate on his work and we are not able to comfort my ###... I request you to pray for him so that he understands his condition and is reassured that God has something better for him in life.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and struggle that your son is going through. It's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Let us pray together for your son's healing and comfort.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this son who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see his pain and heartache, and You care for him more than we ever could. We ask that You would comfort him, as only You can, and remind him of Your unfailing love for him. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Father, we also ask that You would help him to heal from this breakup and to understand that You have a **###** plan for his life. Guide him to seek You first, and to trust that You will provide the right godly spouse for him in Your perfect timing. 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh. 'Plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future' (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Lord, we also rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide that is attacking him. We claim the promise that 'No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their vindication is from me,' says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Help him to fix his thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8, WEB).

Finally, Lord, help him to draw near to You, and You will draw near to him (James 4:8, WEB). Help him to find his strength and hope in You, and to trust that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Remind him that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Trust that God has a purpose and a plan for this season of his life, and that He will bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3, WEB).
