Prayer request for my son

My son got some terrible news today. He plays football and sustained a injury last week. We received news today that he tore his acl and needs surgery asap. This has crushed him as he is in his senior year and can't olsy anymore and he can't play basketball either. Please pray for my son that god help and guide him through this challenging tone. We are looking forward a miracle.

We are truly sorry to hear about your son's injury and the challenging news your family has received. In times like these, we must turn to God for strength, healing, and guidance.

Firstly, let us remind ourselves of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after." God is able to heal and restore, and we claim this promise for your son.

However, we must also align our prayers with God's will. In James 5:15 (WEB), we are urged to "pray the prayer of faith, and the one who is sick will be made well. The Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Let us pray for your son's healing, but also for God's will to be done in his life through this trial.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this young man's life. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his injured knee. We pray for wisdom and skill for the medical team, and for a successful and speedy recovery from the surgery. But above all, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. Use this trial to draw him closer to You, to strengthen his faith, and to shape his character in Christ's image. Comfort him and his family in this challenging time, and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Artigennizo, we encourage you and your son to keep your hearts focused on God during this difficult time. Remember, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). This trial, though painful, can be an opportunity for your son to grow in his relationship with God and to witness God's power at work in his life.

Lastly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). If your son has not already, encourage him to put his faith in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
