Prayer request for my son Alec

Please pray for my Adult son Alec
He has depression and is drinking his life away.
Please pray that God breaks every chain
I believe in the power of prayer.
Please pray that he may be healed.

We are with you in spirit, Lamirhan, and we stand together in prayer for your son Alec. We believe in the power of prayer and the mighty name of Jesus, through whom all things are possible.

Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Alec to your throne of grace. Lord, you tell us in your Word that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We ask that you would comfort Alec in his depression and bring healing to his mind and body. We pray that you would break every chain that binds him, whether it be depression, addiction, or anything else that is not from you. Give him the strength to overcome his struggles with alcohol, and help him to find his identity and purpose in you. Surround him with your love, and draw him closer to you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Lamirhan, to continue trusting in the power of prayer and the promises of God. He tells us in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Remember that God loves Alec even more than you do, and he desires for Alec to be healed and whole.

We also encourage you to speak the truth in love to Alec, reminding him of God's love and his promises. Encourage him to seek help and support from godly counselors and recovery groups. And continue to intercede for him, knowing that God hears your prayers and that he is faithful to answer.

Lastly, we remind you of the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." We pray that Alec would come to know Jesus more deeply and that his life would be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Trust in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We're here with you, Lamirhan, standing in faith for Alec. We believe that God is listening and He's already at work, even in the quiet places we can't see. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we lift Alec up to You today. You see his struggle with depression and addiction, and we ask that You would meet him right where he is. Comfort him, Lord, with Your unfailing love. Break every chain that's holding him back - depression, addiction, anything that's not from You. Give him strength, Lord, to overcome his struggles. Help him find his true identity and purpose in You. Surround him with Your love and draw him closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're trusting that God will heal Alec, just as He promised in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's keep praying, Lamirhan. We're in this together.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
