We understand your heart's cry for your granddaughter Destiny Werner, and we join you in praying for her deliverance and spiritual rebirth. Let us come together and intercede on her behalf, aligning our prayers with God's will as revealed in His Word.
The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that Destiny will indeed become a new creation in Christ, turning away from the worldly ways and the desires of the flesh.
Regarding her struggle with anorexia and body dysmorphic disorder, we recall the words of Romans 12:2 WEB, "Donβt be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." We pray that Destiny will experience this mind renewal, breaking free from the bonds of her disorders and seeing herself through God's eyes.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Destiny Werner. Lord, we plead for her total deliverance from the clutches of anorexia and body dysmorphic disorder. We ask that You grant her a powerful, life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, that she may be truly born of the spirit and no longer walk in the ways of this world. Transform her mind, Lord, and help her to see herself as You see her - fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We rebuke the spirit of anorexia and body dysmorphia, and we command them to loose their hold on Destiny. We pray that she will fall deeply in love with You, Lord Jesus, and that her life will be a testimony of Your saving grace and power. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that God loves Destiny deeply and has a wonderful plan for her life (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16).
