We are so grateful for your request, Rosalind, and we stand with you in prayer for your granddaughter, Eden. We trust that God has a wonderful plan for her life, and we are committed to praying for her academic success and, more importantly, her spiritual journey. "For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Firstly, we pray that Eden will come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. This is the most important thing in life, as it determines our eternal destiny. "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
We pray,
Lord Jesus, we bring Eden before Your throne of grace. We ask that You will reveal Yourself to her in a very personal way and that she will accept You as her Lord and Savior. We pray that You will guide her in her studies, and give her wisdom and understanding in biology, geography, and business. Help her to grasp complex concepts with ease and recall information accurately during her exams. Grant her the gift of concentration, good memory and good time management to study her subjects well. Help her to prioritize her life to put God first and to be salt and light in her school.
Rosalind, we also want to address your heartfelt desire to leave this world with a smile. We believe that God wants us to live life abundantly. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10 WEB.
We encourage you to trust in God's timing and purpose for your life. While it's natural to want happiness for our loved ones, our ultimate hope should be in Jesus Christ and His promises. We pray that you will find peace and joy in Him, regardless of the circumstances. Trust in Him to work in Eden's life, and find rest in His sovereignty.
"But they that wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 WEB.
