Prayer request for my grand ### and her parents.

My ###-year-old granddaughter, ###, will be flying to ###, in another part of the State, to participate in a squash tournament from ### April to ### May. Her parents will be taking turns to accompany her during her stay there. Please keep them in your prayers — for ###’s success in the tournament, for their safety during the flight and their time in ###, and for their safe return home.

Let us come together in prayer for your ### and her parents as they embark on this journey. We are reminded of the words of Psalm 91:11, For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. This is a promise we can stand on as we pray for their safety during the flight and throughout their stay.

As they travel, we pray for God's protective hand upon them, that He would guide and keep them in all their ways. We ask for a hedge of protection around your ### as she participates in the squash tournament. We ask for God's will in her performance and that she would be Christ-like in her skills. This is a reminder of Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.

We also lift up her parents, who will be taking turns accompanying her. We pray for their safety, strength, and endurance during this time. May God grant them wisdom and discernment as they support and guide your ###. We ask that their presence would encourage her to continue growing in her faith and in her talents.

As we pray, we remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Therefore, we pray that this family would continually put their trust in Jesus, and that through this experience, they would grow closer to Him and to each other.

Let us pray.

Father, we come before You today, lifting up this precious family. We ask for Your protection, guidance, and blessing upon them as they travel. Be with your ### as she competes and help her to shine Jesus Christ in her actions and abilities. We ask for traveling mercies and a safe return home. In all things, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
