We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles and the pain you're experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is so important to come in Jesus's name. It is by His name and His name only that we can come to God and that He can save us. (Acts 4:12)
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
We want to encourage you with the following scriptures:
He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). God is our merciful Father and heals all our pain.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Kaestead who is going through a difficult time. Lord, You know the pain and depression they are experiencing, and we ask that You would surround them with Your peace and healing power.
Father, we pray that You would mend their broken heart and bind up their wounds. Help them to find comfort and strength in You. We pray that the people around them who may have caused harm would find their hearts changed.
Lord, we ask for a miracle in their life, a turning point that would bring them closer to You. We pray that You would guide them towards a godly spouse and godly relationships that honor You, if that is Your will.
Lord, we also ask that you would rebuke any spirit that is not of You, Father. We ask that you would turn this situation to good and that You would use it to strengthen Kaestead and draw them closer to You.
In Jesus's precious name, we pray. Amen.
We want to encourage you to seek professional help if depression is overwhelming.
Continue to trust in the Lord and draw near to Him. He is always with you, and He promises to help us in all circumstances.
Lastly, consider this passage:
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
