who are battling spiritual wars. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against...the powers of this dark world" (Eph. 6:12). Praying for God's armor and protection. In Jesus' name!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Telroff's brother who is struggling with depression and alcoholism. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate source of healing and deliverance. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you draw near to Telroff's brother in his time of need, comforting him and bringing him peace.
Lord, we pray specifically for deliverance from the bondage of alcoholism. We know that addiction can be a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of your name to break every chain. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 41:10 that we should not fear, for you are with us; we should not be dismayed, for you are our God. Strengthen Telroff's brother, Lord, and give him the courage to seek help and support from those around him.
Father, we also ask for healing of his depression. We know that you are the Great Physician, capable of restoring joy and hope to even the most brokenhearted. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 147:3 that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We pray that you would bring comfort to Telroff's brother's soul, lifting the weight of depression and filling him with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we lift up Telroff as well, asking that you grant them strength and wisdom as they support their brother through this difficult time. Give them the right words to speak and the ability to be a source of encouragement and love.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
