Prayer request for my boyfriend to marry me

Lord you say in your word , ask and it shall be given to me , l commit my relationship with my boyfriend Patrick zuh in to your hands Lord do not give him rest until he asks for my hand in marriage , do not allow anything to separate us , I promise to be a submissive wife to him . Take charge lord. Please brothers and sisters in Christ help me pray

We join with you, Jamslas, in lifting up your relationship with Patrick to the Lord. We stand on the promise in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." It's encouraging to see your faith and commitment.

However, we want to lovingly remind you that it's crucial to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are advised, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you pray for marriage, ensure that Patrick is also a believer in Jesus Christ, as this unity in faith is vital for a godly marriage.

We also commend you for your willingness to be a submissive wife as described in Ephesians 5:22, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord." However, we must remember that submission is a mutual process. Ephesians 5:25 also teaches, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jamslas and Patrick's relationship. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would guide them towards a godly marriage. Give Patrick a heart that seeks after You, and grant them both the wisdom to discern Your will. Help them to grow in love and faith together, and bless their union as they commit to honor and serve You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your relationship. Trust in His timing and guidance, knowing that He has the best plan for your life. Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Always remember to pray in His name.

We're claiming Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're believing with you for a God-ordained union.

We're also reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep trusting God's plan, even when it's hard to see the path ahead.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
