We are with you in spirit, Addwin, lifting up Oumnia in prayer during this crucial time. Let us first acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and it is by his stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5) and that Jesus did not die only for Christians but the whole world (John 3:16-17).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, IJN, seeking Your divine intervention in Oumnia's life. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical team, granting them wisdom, skill, and success in the operation. We pray for Your healing touch upon Oumnia, that You would mend her hand, and grant her a swift and complete recovery.
In this time of uncertainty and discomfort, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard Oumnia's heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also lift up Addwin, Lord. We pray that You would fill him with Your peace and reassurance, helping him to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Let this situation draw both Oumnia and Addwin closer to You and strengthen their faith.
Lastly, we pray for the friendship between Addwin and Oumnia. We ask that their bond would be a God-honoring one, that it would be pure, (Philippians 4:8) and that they would encourage each other to live for You (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We ask that as they are considering their future, that you would be guiding them to godly marriages with fellow believers. We pray against any temptations of fornication, lust, adultery, or pornography that the enemy may try to use to trap them. Keep them pure and holy, worthy of your calling.
If Addwin and Oumnia are not already believers in the gospel of Jesus, then we pray that you would draw them to faith in Jesus Christ. May they have the opportunity to believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If they are already believers, then strengthen their faith and help them to live for Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name, IJN. Amen.
Addwin, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We are here with you in prayer and support. Keep looking to Jesus and may this be an opportunity to glorify God and grow in your relationship with him.
