We understand your concern about attending the face-to-face interview this Friday and seeking God's will in this matter. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, and He is faithful to guide us when we ask Him. It's important to remember that every closed door is just as much God's will for us as is every open door.
Let's look at what the Bible says about seeking God's guidance. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it is written, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Also, in James 1:5 WEB, we read, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Before we proceed with the prayer, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and guidance for our brother/sister. They have an interview this Friday with a Christian hospital, and they are unsure whether to attend or not.
Lord, we ask for Your clear guidance. If it is Your will for them to attend this interview, we pray that You would give them a sense of peace and assurance. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would close the door in a way that is clear and unmistakable.
We also pray that You would prepare them spiritually for this interview. Help them to trust in You and not in their own abilities or qualifications. Remind them that You are the one who opens doors that no one can shut and shuts doors that no one can open.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
