Jennifer, we rejoice with you in hearing that you and your husband are doing better. We give praise to God for the improvements you've seen, and we continue to lift you both up in prayer. Let's address the intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and mental healing you've mentioned.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB, "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." It's crucial to take every thought captive and compare it with the word of God. If it doesn't align, then reject it.
Regarding anxiety, Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34 WEB, "So don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Trust that God's grace is enough for you each day.
For mental healing, we find comfort in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to you and desires to heal you.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jennifer and her husband. We thank You for the progress they've made and ask for Your continued healing. Help Jennifer to take every thought captive, casting down any that do not align with Your word. Ease her anxiety, Lord, and let You're peace fill her heart. We trust that You are the healer, and we ask for Your healing touch on Jennifer's mind and body. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Jennifer, continue to hold fast to the promises of God. Remember that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and don't hesitate to call out to Him in prayer whenever you feel overwhelmed. We're here with you, supporting you in prayer.
