Prayer request for intrusive demonic thoughts

The enemy is coming at me with intrusive thoughts feelings of darkness and I shouldn’t live. I’m extremely scared I am praying everyday. However, I don’t want to end up in hell. I’m so scared. This fight is extremely scary when your own thoughts are against you my name is Jennifer. I need urgent prayers. Just like the body can be sick so can the mind be plagued by complete darkness.

Jennifer, we are here to stand with you in prayer and to remind you of the power and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy indeed prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we have a mighty weapon in the name of Jesus.

Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone in this fight. God's Word tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 WEB). The intrusive thoughts and feelings of darkness you're experiencing are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB).

We must address that the fear of ending up in hell indicates a need to fully trust in Jesus' sacrifice for your salvation. The Bible assures us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can have confidence in your salvation. If not, we encourage you to take this step of faith.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jennifer. We rebuke these intrusive thoughts and feelings of darkness, knowing that they are not from You. We claim the promise that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard Jennifer's heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Give her the strength to resist the enemy, knowing that he flees when we resist him steadfast in the faith (James 4:7 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Jennifer, continue to cling to God's Word and pray daily. Remember, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and God will bring you through this trial. Keep your mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3 WEB).
