"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch upon ###. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we know that no sickness or pain escapes Your notice. We ask that You ease the gastric pain in their stomach, that You would grant them comfort and a speedy recovery.
We also take this opportunity to encourage ### to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this time of discomfort. Remember, ###, that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we ought to care for them as such.
"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB)
In times of sickness, we should also reflect on our walk with the Lord. If there are any areas in your life that are not aligned with biblical principles, may this be a time to address them and seek the Lord's forgiveness and mercy.
