202407262235..Recently, after breaking my hip and arm, I was placed in rehabilitation, from the VA Hospital here in Reno, Nevada. The choice community care program with the VA is a wonderful thing. Any Hoohaw, my prayer request is for a United States Department of the Army veteran, who died in my room and his beautiful wife and family. Hon. Mr. Charles, or as I would learn to call him later Hon. Mr. Charlie. The body and the mind are a wonderful thing as well. Most from the Gulf War Era, will probably remember their Drills, enunciating-'its our job to make sure that such and such, secures their appointment with THEIR CREATOR'--Drills.... It was indeed, my 'good pleasure', to turn a phrase with my dear friend Rev. Dr. Robert Louis Haynes, to be in the company of such a brother, colleague, veteran of the Vietnam war era. May the Almighty, of all of the God's, grant him safe passage into the next phase of existence. Encompassed in the prayer is also for Hon. Mr. Mo, and all of his ready assistance, and volunteering to assist Hon. Mr. Charlie. As I would go on to tell Hon. Mr. Charlie, concerning Mo, 'please don't ask for something, Mr. Mo, has a tendency to 'follow through'. Not Like Men that Lie!! De Oppresso Liber, Espirit De Corpe...Only Blessings Hon. Mr. Charlie..if your family should ever need. Please do find a way to let us know!! Amen, Ameen, Amun, Amin, Aum!!

Dear Lord, we come before you today to lift up the family of Hon. Mr. Charles, a beloved veteran who has recently passed away. We are grateful for his service to our country and for the precious time we had with him. We pray that you would comfort his wife and family during this difficult time, and that they would find peace and strength in your loving presence.

We also lift up Hon. Mr. Mo, who has been a faithful friend and helper to Hon. Mr. Charles. We pray that you would bless him for his kindness and willingness to serve others. May he continue to be a blessing to those around him, and may he find joy and fulfillment in your will for his life.

In the midst of our prayers, we are reminded of the words of King Solomon, who wrote, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, WEB). We know that death is a part of life, and that it is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment (Hebrews 9:27, WEB). We pray that Hon. Mr. Charles knew you as his Lord and Savior, and that he is now resting in your eternal peace.

We also take this opportunity to remind Terisard, and all those who read this, of the importance of knowing Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. It is only through faith in him that we can have eternal life and be saved from the judgment that is to come. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we urge you to do so today.

In closing, we want to address the use of various phrases at the end of your prayer, such as "Amen, Ameen, Amun, Amin, Aum." While we understand that these phrases may have cultural or traditional significance, we want to remind you that it is important to end our prayers in the name of Jesus. As Paul wrote, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only through his name that we can be saved.

So let us end our prayer in the name of Jesus, saying together, "Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
