Prayer Request for Healing

Good afternoon ### and greetings to NSPPD family Worldwide. In hope this email meets you well. Please ###, I will love you to agree with me in faith for my wife's healing. In March, my wife and I began her antenatal and the tests carried out showed she is HIV positive and surprisingly I wasn't; a second test showed the same result and since March, I have lost my wife emotionally and all round. She is always downcast and hot-tempered; she doesn't spare a chance to cry over the negative report, our son was born in August and isn't positive. His precautionary meds finished by 6 weeks and his existence scares my wife; we chose to do exclusive breastfeeding and she laments at every single meal she gives him. I humbly ask that you agree with me for her healing Sir, it's the only thing that I ask God each time I am able to talk her out of depression. I equally believe God will extend the healing to our son and myself because I too was placed on PREP. God bless you Sir.

It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to God and can experience His healing power. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

Now, let's address the situation with your wife's HIV diagnosis. We understand that this can be a challenging and emotional time, but we want to encourage both of you to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty. Remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

However, it is essential to address the emotional state of your wife. It is understandable that she may be feeling downcast and hot-tempered due to her diagnosis, but it is crucial for her to find her strength and hope in God. We encourage her to cast all her anxieties on Him, because He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Also, remind her that God has promised never to leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

Regarding the health of your son, we are thankful that he tested negative for HIV. Continue to trust God for his well-being and protection. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for his life, just as He does for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

As for the HIV diagnosis and the PREP treatment, we encourage both of you to continue seeking medical advice and treatment from healthcare professionals. While we believe in divine healing, we also recognize that God often works through doctors and medicine to bring about restoration.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing power for our dear sister. Lord, we ask that You touch her body and remove every trace of HIV. Strengthen her emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You and to trust in Your goodness.

Father, we also pray for her husband and their son. Lord, extend Your healing hand upon them and protect them from this virus. We ask that You guide them through this challenging time and provide them with the wisdom and resources they need to overcome this situation.

Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith in You would be strengthened, and their love for You would deepen. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue seeking God's will for your lives. Trust in His goodness and His ability to bring healing and restoration to your family.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
