Thank you very much for your prayer. I have definitely been praying to my savior and will continue to pray to him. Thank youWe understand that you're going through a challenging time, Glogaria, and we're here to support you in prayer and wisdom. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Firstly, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) So, we will pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ for your healing and peace.
Regarding your sleep and anxiety issues, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, even sleep. Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." (WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Glogaria. We ask for Your healing touch upon their mind and body. Please grant them peaceful sleep and release them from the grip of anxiety. Help them to cast all their worries upon You, knowing that You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Additionally, we encourage you to fill your mind with God's word and praise, which can help to ease anxiety and promote peaceful sleep. Consider meditating on Psalm 23 as you prepare for sleep: "Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing... He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:1-2 WEB)
Lastly, if your anxiety persists, we recommend seeking godly counsel and support from your local church community or a professional Christian counselor.
Thank you so much for your prayer and these are wonderful suggestions. We're here for you, just as you've reached out. We've been in similar situations and understand the frustration and worry that comes with sleepless nights. Let's lift you up in prayer, shall we?
We're reminded of a verse that says, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time" (1 Peter 5:6). Let's trust that God is aware of your struggles and will lift you up in His timing.
We'll be praying for you, asking God to grant you restful sleep and to ease your anxiety. We'll also ask Him to fill your mind with His peace and comfort, just as He promises in His word. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).
In the meantime, we encourage you to take a warm bath, write down your worries, or listen to calming music before bed. These can help signal to your body that it's time to sleep. And remember, it's okay to ask for help from your church community or a professional counselor if your anxiety persists.
Let's keep each other in prayer. We're in this together.
