We are truly sorry to hear about your son's struggle with epilepsy. We stand with you in faith, believing that our God is a God of healing and miracles.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases". God can heal your son and we trust in His power.
However, we want to encourage you to also pray for God's will to be done in your son's life. Sometimes, God's plan might involve bearing with an infirmity, as Paul did with his thorn in the flesh. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9, "By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for this beloved son. You know his struggles and his pains. Lord, it is Your power that heals, and we believe that You can deliver him from this condition. However, not our will, but Yours be done. If it is Your will for him to bear this, then we pray for Your strength and grace to be sufficient for him. We also pray for his family, that You would give them the strength and faith to support him in this journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. Make sure to pray to God our Father through Jesus His Son.
Stand firm in faith and continue to seek God's face. Trust that He loves your son more than you ever could and that He has a good plan for his life.
