Doctors believe I have tonsil cancer that has spread to two lymph nodes in my neck. I am ### years old, live alone, and have no family at all. Please pray that God will get me through this nightmare and heal me.

We are truly saddened to hear about your diagnosis, Gwuinor. However, we believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of God. We are reminded in Psalm 147:3 that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." And in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB Jesus said "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We believe that God can heal you from this cancer, but we also pray for His will to be done in your life. We pray that through this trial, you will draw closer to Him and experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Remember that all things that happen in the life of Christians work together for good, even if they are very difficult. The Bible tells us that in Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also pray that God will provide you with a supportive community, as you mentioned you live alone and have no family. The body of Christ is your family, and we believe that God will bring people into your life to support and encourage you during this time. As said in Romans 12:5 WEB "Even so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."
Finally, we pray that you will have courage and strength to face this challenge. Be encouraged by Joshua 1:9 WEB " Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
Father, we come before You today, lifting up Gwuinor. We pray for healing, for strength, for courage, and for a community to rally around them in this time of need. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We believe that God's grace is enough to see you through this trial. We're praying for His strength and comfort to be with you every step of the way. And remember, even if you feel alone, you're never truly alone. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
