We join you, dear sister, in lifting your husband before the throne of grace. We trust that God has a perfect plan for his life and your family. In Philippians 4:6 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We stand with you in making this request known to our loving Father.
Firstly, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in God's timing. Psalm 37:7 WEB tells us, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." Remember that God's plans are always good, and His timing is perfect.
However, we also want to gently remind you that while it's important to pray for earthly blessings like a good job, it's even more crucial to seek God's will and righteousness first. As Matthew 6:33 WEB says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Pray that God will guide your husband to a job that not only provides well but also allows him to serve God's purposes and grow in his relationship with Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your favor upon our sister's husband. We pray that You would guide him to a job that not only provides for their family but also allows him to serve You and grow in his relationship with You. We ask that You give them both patience and peace as they wait on Your perfect timing. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
