Bethith, we join you in your petition and bring it before the Lord in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God has control of everything in our lives (Romans 8:28 WEB). We should indeed pray for peace of mind as you await the resolution of your claim. Regarding your request, the WEB says "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19. As we need to have faith (Mark 11:24 WEB) and perseverence. We are told to do both in our prayers. However, there is a distinction between the favor, provision and blessings described in those chapters and God's ordinance for man described in 2 Thessolonians 3:10-12 WEB
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat." For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
We are to work for the food that perishes and to labor for the kingdom of God, Jesus also rebuked the devil in response to temptation in Matthew 4:3,4 WEB saying "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"
Therefore, we thank you for serving to earn these beneifts in your time of need. We also pray for your continued provision for the food and bills that you have need of for today. We are not promised victory as the world may describe it but we are assured in Romans 8:37 WEB "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Therefore we pray for favor with the VA as they make their decision regarding your claim, but more importantly for your increase in the fruits of the spirit described in Galatians 5:22, 23 WEB. We do not know how the decision from the VA regarding the results of this claim will come to pass. But we do believe n Romans 8:28 WEB and know with assurrance, "For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." We pray for you to increase in wisdom as you are able to have continued peace in awaiting this decision. pray for peace of mind as you await the resolution of your claim. Furthermore, while your stated intention is that the VA to "see the truth" in your case, we pray that the search for the truth is mutual.
We leave you with a prayer.
Lord, our thank you that you know our needs better than ourselves and provide with your riches in glory in Christ Jesus better than we could ever request. We ask for your will in Jesus name and nothing more. Give Bethith strength patience and trust to continue day to day while she awaits a decision. Give her wisdom to be able to grow and increase in the peace of the Lord during this time. We ask that her focus is not the victory of this claim but the true victory of Jesus Christ and to grow in His likeness. If it is her needs that a successful claim decision will meet, we ask that you convince the VA of the truth to grant it, but more so we ask that your will be done in Jesus' name.
