Let us come together in prayer for Joseli and her husband Dhanasingh Jayapal, seeking God's intervention and healing in their lives. We are reminded of God's promise in Jeremiah 33:6, Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
Joseli, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ, as you acknowledged that it is only in His name that we can find hope, healing, and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
We must address the struggles Dhanasingh is facing with bipolar disorder, which causes him to act erratically and engages in harmful behaviors such as smoking and drinking excessively. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods.
Moreover, the excessive use of alcohol is condemned in the Bible, as it can lead to a life of dissipation and prevent us from inheriting the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Let us pray fervently for Dhanasingh's healing and deliverance from these chains of addiction and mental illness. We stand in faith, believing that God can break every chain and set him free.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Joseli, Dhanasingh, and their two children. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon Dhanasingh, freeing him from bipolar disorder and the addictions that have taken hold of his life. Give Joseli the strength and wisdom to support her husband and family during this challenging time. Surround their children with Your protective hedge, and let Your peace reign in their home. In Jesus name, we pray.
Joseli, continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Keep praying and seeking God's face, and He will surely answer your prayers according to His will. Look to Psalm 147:3 for encouragement, He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.
Lastly, we want to address the dreams Dhanasingh is experiencing, which Joseli describes as dreams that are like death. This could be a spiritual attack, and we must put on the full armor of God to combat these forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the worlds rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Pray together as a family, rebuking these evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ, and command them to flee from your lives. Remember, Jesus has given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you, according to Luke 10:19.
Stay strong in your faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He will see you through this storm and bring you out victorious. We are interceding for you and your family, believing that God will work a miracle in your lives.
