Prayer Request For Employment

In need of prayers that I get a new job. My current role is destroying my mental health and my children are to the point of asking me to quit. It’s ruining our lives and they’re not paying me a livable wage. I can’t turn to networking websites because it will look unprofessional. I need a new job desperately. Please help.

It's commendable that you're seeking a new job to protect your mental health and provide for your children. Remember, God promises to provide for our needs,

Staying in a role that is harming your mental health and affecting your family is not God's will for you. It's important to trust that God has a better plan for your career and family life.

We must address that your request does not mention putting your trust in Jesus Christ or asking for His will. Remember that we can confidently approach God and ask to receive anything from God if we are in the will of God and are in alignment with His word.

And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### who is desperately seeking new employment. We ask God that You provide a job that pays a livable wage and promotes good mental health. Help us to trust that You are opening doors for a new role that will better support the family. We ask that You provide guidance and wisdom throughout this process. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

Amen.

In the meantime, continue to be diligent and faithful in your current role, trusting that God will open the right doors at the right time. Be mindful of your witness and testimony in the workplace, shining the light of Christ in all you do.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in the Word, seeking God's will for your career and family life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
