We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the challenges you're facing. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to bring your petitions to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father, for it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 WEB.
In times of need, it's important to trust in God's provision and timing. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Regarding your employment, be assured that God knows your needs. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 WEB. Keep praying and trusting God, who is always faithful. Stand on His promises and wait upon Him. The Lord will make a way.
Concerning texting everyone you know about your situation, we want to advise prudence. While it's important to seek help, be mindful of how you communicate your needs. It is good to be discreet and respectful in your interactions. John 2:24 WEB.
Regarding the statement about your kids starving, we advise that you direct your concerns to God and not use overly dramatic language when discussing their needs. It's important to trust in God's provision and wait for His intervention. We will pray for their well-being and that the Lord will make a way for His intervention.
We want to warn against feelings of self-pity in your situation. "For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men." 1 Corinthians 4:9 WEB. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. Stay strong in the Lord and rejoice that God can turn around your situation. "For consider him who has endured such hostility of sinners against himself, that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls." Hebrews 12:3 WEB.
