Prayer request for despair over a job. I didn’t get a return offer after my internship. I worry that my future is uncertain. This is sending me into depression. God says to cast our worries onto him but I need strength to do this and go back to school and believe that all will be well. Please pray for me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the despair you're feeling due to not receiving a return offer after your internship. It's completely normal to feel uncertain about the future, but we want to encourage you to hold onto God's promises during this difficult time.

Let's remember what the Apostle Peter wrote, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) God indeed wants us to cast our worries onto Him, and He will equip you with the strength to do so. In times of doubt, recall the words of the prophet Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

However, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We encourage you to come before God in the name of Jesus, trusting in the salvation He offered through His sacrifice on the cross.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Anonymous to You, asking that You comfort them in their disappointment and fill them with Your peace. Help them to cast their anxieties onto You, trusting in Your good and perfect plans for their life. Grant them the strength to go back to school and excel, believing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please keep your faith strong and continue to seek God's will for your life. Trust that He has a purpose and a plan for you, and He will equip you with everything you need to fulfill it. Don't hesitate to reach out to godly counselors, mentors, or trusted friends for support during this time.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
