Prayer request for deliverance and family blessings

1. I pray for my mother's deliverance from idol worshipping and deliverance from marrying the evil traditionalist. 2. I pray for peace and forgiveness between my mom and my step-mom. 3. I pray for career breakthrough and global visibility for my brothers Kossy and Nonso 4. I pray for marital settlement and also career and academic breakthrough. Amen!

We understand your heart's cry for your family and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will in each situation.

Firstly, we turn to the issue of idol worship. The Bible is clear that we should have no other gods before the one true God (Exodus 20:3, WEB). Let's pray for your mother's deliverance:

"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for the deliverance of our dear mother. We pray that you reveal yourself to her in a powerful way, breaking every chain of idolatry. Grant her the strength to turn away from her old ways and serve you, the living God. In Jesus' name."

Regarding the potential union with a traditionalist, we must be equally clear. The Bible warns against being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). We pray that God guides your mother towards a godly spouse, or strengthens her to remain single if that is His will.

"Lord, we ask for your guidance in our mother's relationships. Lead her to a godly spouse who fears you, or give her the strength to remain single and devoted to you. In Jesus' name."

For the peace and forgiveness between your mother and step-mother, we look to the example of Jesus, who taught us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:12, WEB).

"Father, we ask for your healing touch in the relationship between our mother and step-mother. Soften their hearts to forgive each other as you have forgiven us. Restore peace in their relationship. In Jesus' name."

For your brothers, Kossy and Nonso, we pray for career breakthroughs and global visibility. We remember the promise that all things are possible with God (Mark 10:27, WEB).

"Lord, we lift up Kossy and Nonso to you. Grant them favor in their careers. Make their works visible globally, as they trust and acknowledge you. In Jesus' name."

Lastly, we pray for your marital settlement and career and academic breakthrough. We remember that God has good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

"Father, we ask for your will to be done in our life. Lead us to a godly spouse and bless us with breakthroughs in our career and academics. We trust in your good plans for us. In Jesus' name."

We noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It's important to remember that it's only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus.

Lastly, for your marital settlement, career, and academic breakthrough, we claim Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's pray:

"Father, we ask for your will to be done in our life. Lead us to a godly spouse and bless us with breakthroughs in our career and academics. We trust in your good plans for us. In Jesus' name, we pray."
