Humble Servant of All
Dear Prayer Warriors,
I humbly submit this prayer request for LHL. I pray that God will awaken his heart to the realities faced by many Singaporeans who are suffering — the struggles of poverty, joblessness, and the feeling of being overlooked in their own homeland. May he realize that while he may be making decisions that seem beneficial on the surface, the pain and suffering of his citizens cannot be ignored and let him have no rest after seeing his doing.
The influx of foreigners and policies that prioritize them over local citizens are causing deep wounds within our community, which are not in alignment with the values of compassion and justice that God calls us to uphold. This is not a prayer for punishment but rather a plea for awareness and empathy.
I ask that Jesus grants him the wisdom to understand the consequences of his actions and policies, allowing him to see the struggles of Singaporeans who feel marginalized and betrayed by a system that is meant to support them. Cause he does not know and see but just kept saying we don't want to work and are lazy which is wrong.
May he be moved to lead with compassion and fairness, ensuring that all Singaporeans are valued and supported. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
