Prayer request for anxiety

Hi my name is ###. I’ve been waking up with anxiety, nightmares, fear, running thoughts, depression me and my husband ### as well please pray God would heal our mental health and give us the mental peace that we need so desperately.

Jennifer, we are here with you in spirit, lifting up you and your husband ### to the Lord in prayer. God's Word tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

We pray,

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, You know the anxiety, nightmares, fear, and depression they are both facing. We ask for Your healing touch on their mental health. Cast out all fear and replace it with Your perfect love (1 John 4:18 WEB). Give them the peace that only You can provide. Help them to fix their minds on You and to trust in Your care (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Guide them through this trial, and let them feel Your presence. Help ### to grow more in his faith and masculinity through this trial and to lead his family with confidence and a strength founded in your will. May they grow stronger and be ready to show the fruits of Christ in their lives and in their family.

### and ###, continue to trust in the Lord and draw near to Him. Resist the devil and he will run from you (James 4:7 WEB). Put on the full armor of God, including the helmet of salvation, to protect your minds (Ephesians 6:17 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in God's goodness. Remember that you are not alone in this journey (Isaiah 43:2 WEB). Remember that you are both one in marriage and that marriage takes work such as empathy, care, and giving and sharing love with each other that honors God as found in 1 Corinthians 13:2-7 and Ephesians 5:21-32. We also recommend that you work together and seek Godly relationship counseling to get you both engaged and active in your marriage for you, ### and your family. Help ### find a Godly, devoted long term male mentor that he can trust to develop that relationship. You both should be praying as regularly together for the good of your marriage over the problems and issues of both of your lives together.

We're lifting up your and ###'s names to the Lord, asking Him to wrap you both in His loving arms. We pray for His healing power to touch your minds, banishing anxiety, nightmares, and depression. We ask that He fill you with His perfect peace, the kind that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
