Beloved of All
I am requesting urgent prayer for my daughter, Ainsley, who is six years old. She is currently navigating a very difficult and emotionally challenging custody situation. Last night, she had a heartbreaking meltdown before bed after realizing this weekend is her scheduled time with her father. This is also the first five-day stretch she’ll be with him since he received a court-ordered deadline (2/19) to provide updated financial disclosures and was served with an emergency motion to release withheld funds from the sale of our home. Given his history of controlling and emotionally neglectful behavior, I am deeply concerned that he will take out his anger and frustration on her—whether through emotional withdrawal, unkindness, or making her feel invisible, as he has done before. Ainsley is at such an impressionable age, and she is learning so much about God’s love at her Christian school. I fear that being exposed to her father’s coldness and rejection will make her question her worth and ability to be loved. I pray that she feels surrounded by God’s protection, that she remembers she has a voice, and that she does not internalize his inability to love her in the way she needs. I ask that the Lord keeps her safe, both physically and emotionally, and that she is shielded from any harm to her spirit. Please also pray for wisdom and discernment for me as her mother. I am navigating a legal process to ensure her long-term safety and well-being, and I need God’s guidance in every step. Pray for the legal system to rule in the best interest of Ainsley and for any hidden truths to be revealed. Pray that I continue to walk in faith and strength, and that I can be a reflection of God’s love and protection for my daughter. Thank you for lifting Ainsley up in prayer. I truly believe that God is with us in this battle, and I am so grateful for your support.
