We understand your desire for a child, especially as you see the longing in your husband's eyes and the wish for a grandchild from his father. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's perfect timing and will.
First, let's remember that children are a heritage from the Lord. As Psalm 127:3 WEB states, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." It is God who opens and closes the womb, and His timing is always perfect.
Let's also recall the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, who was barren and desperately wanted a child. She prayed fervently to the Lord, and in His time, He blessed her with Samuel. Similarly, we trust that God hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect time.
However, we must also remember that our ultimate trust and hope should be in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have our prayers heard. If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Daessiard. Lord, You know the deep longing of her heart for a child, and You see the desire in her husband's eyes. We ask, Father, that You touch her womb and bless them with a child in Your perfect time.
Help them to trust in You, Lord, and to rest in Your will. Comfort them in any moments of doubt or disappointment, and remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways. Give them the strength to wait patiently for Your blessing, and to praise You even in the waiting.
In the meantime, Lord, help them to be a blessing to others. Open their eyes to the needs around them, and give them a heart to serve You in all they do.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, Daessiard, and trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and His love for you is everlasting.
