Prayer Request Anxiety

I am at a job that I don’t like. I pray that the other position I applied for will give me an offer and get back to me. I pray for peace from the restlessness this current job is giving me and that I will be able to survive and make it until I hear back from the other position. My heart has been so heavy and crying every day because it has been so difficult at this job. I pray and ask for peace and Gods grace and mercy through it all . I pray for Gods healing over my anxiety.

We understand your struggle, Cholex, and we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, let's remember God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

In your prayer request, we notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name.

Now, let us pray for you: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister Cholex. We ask that You would comfort her and grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, she is struggling with her current job and has her hopes set on another position. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your plan, open that door for her. Until then, grant her the strength and grace to endure her current circumstances. Heal her from her anxiety, Lord, and help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep holding onto His promises and seeking Him daily. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

We're here with you, Cholex. We've felt that heavy heart too, and we want you to know you're not alone. Let's cling to Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're praying that you find comfort in His nearness.

We've been where you are, feeling restless and uncertain about a job. It's like being in a storm, but remember, God is in the boat with us, even when we can't see Him. We're asking God to calm your anxiety, to give you peace like a quiet lake in the midst of the storm. We're believing with you that He will work this out for your good, just as He always does.

We're also praying for that other position you applied for. We're asking God to open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We trust that He sees your heart and knows your needs. Until then, we're asking for strength to endure and joy in each day.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
