We are glad to hear that your eye is better, and we join you in thanking God for His healing power. It is wonderful to see your faith in action. Let us continue to pray together for the silent request on your heart, trusting that God knows every detail and will answer according to His will.
Let us remember the words of 1 John 5:14-15 from the World English Bible: "This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us. And if we know that He listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him."
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Saraha. You know the silent prayer on her heart, Lord, and we trust that You are working all things for her good. We thank You for the healing You have already provided for her eye, and we ask that You continue to touch her body, soul, and spirit. Grant her peace, guidance, and the fulfillment of her needs according to Your will. Help her to remain steadfast in faith, clinging to Your promises. We pray this all in Jesus Christ's name, the only way we have access to You and by whom we are saved. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Sarah, we encourage you to remain consistent with reading God's word. God tells us to be faithful to pray in His word and the faithful effectual prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. In James 5:16 we read: "Confess your offenses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:6, "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." By way of explanation, this means pray in private. There is no indication here to imply silence is golden but that our specific requests be private between us and God as our requests will be made manifest so the world may see what we believe we will receive from our faith. It is by believing that we have already received (Matthew 21:22), those things that we have and will receive, not by being silent.
