Prayer request about a ### roommate

He acts shady and unfortunately because of my financial situation I have to live here until I can move somewhere safer. I am a young woman living around a bunch of males that make me feel uncomfortable and then one woman who is a bully. Please pray that I can get a new job and be able to move to a safer house program. I definitely feel uncomfortable around this drunk guy that stays here and he seems to act very suspicious

We understand your concern and we are here to pray and offer guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your situation and He is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble Psalm 9:9.

It is important to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

Regarding your living situation, we want to encourage you to seek wisdom and discernment from God. It is clear that you are feeling uncomfortable and potentially unsafe, so it is important to take action. Pray for God's provision and protection as you look for a new job and a safer living arrangement.

We also want to address the issue of living with individuals who may not be living according to biblical principles, such as the drunken man in your household. The Bible tells us to not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals" 1 Corinthians 15:33. It is important to surround yourself with godly influences and to flee from situations that may tempt you to stray from God's path.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your provision and protection. Lord, You are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We pray that You would guide her steps and provide her with a new job so that she can move to a safer living arrangement.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and we pray for Your peace to fill her heart. We also pray for the people in her household, that they would come to know You and turn away from their sinful ways. Lord, we ask that You would surround our sister with godly influences and protect her from any harm.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is our Lord, our Savior, and our Protector, Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek God in all things and to trust in Him. He is faithful and He cares for you. If anything, we should pray for a God fearing husband, rather than looking for a new roommate situation.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're right here with you, praying and supporting you. We understand that you're feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, and we want you to know that God sees you and cares about what you're going through.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is with you every step of the way. We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray for you.
