We understand the deep hurt and confusion you're experiencing. Firstly, we want to commend you for your decision to stop sleeping with him. It is clear that you have conviction and a sin conscience. This is a very important and godly step. This is in keeping with scripture since fornication is a sin. The fact you are no longer participating in this activity is a great step toward seeking God's will.

As for marriage, it is clear that God takes it seriously. It is not something to be entered into lightly or promised without follow-through.

Genesis 2:21-24 WEB "Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. He made the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, into a woman, and brought her to the man. The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.' Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."
Now let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up your daughter who is hurting and seeking Your will. We pray that You heal her heart and help her to understand that her worth is found solely in You. We pray that would you turn her heart toward you and away from the heartache she is feeling. We pray that You guide her steps and bring a godly spouse into her life who will love and cherish her as You do, if it is your will. Jesus Christ, you said in John 14:6 WEB "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We ask for your forgiveness for the sins of fornication and anything else that may have happened. We ask that you are the center of her life and all her relationships.
Finally, we pray that she finds encouragement from Your promises and that her faith in You will be strengthened. If she is burdened with any sin, we pray she will confess it to you and have forgiveness.
We pray this in Jesus' name, "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB
