Thank you for bringing your requests before God. We join you in prayer and seek God's will together. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.
Regarding your child's college admission, we pray that God's will be done. Remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and His ways are higher than our ways. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that your child would trust in God and seek His will for their education and future.
Concerning your work, we pray that God would give you favor and wisdom. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that you would find satisfaction and success in your work as you serve the Lord in it.
Lastly, we pray that all things would go well as per God's plan. We must keep the mind focused and committed to God no matter the circumstances. We encourage you to be in constant prayer and relationship with God to understand His plan for your life.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this parent and their child to You. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in their lives. Guide this child into the college that aligns with Your purpose for them. Give them wisdom, faith, and trust in You. Lord, we also pray for this parent's work. Give them favor, wisdom, and success as they serve You in their workplace. Help them to find the only true satisfaction in a job well done for You. Help them be a shining light to all their coworkers and be ready at all times to give an answer for the hope that is in them. Help them to be in the word daily and in constant prayer to further their relationship with You and understand the plan You have for their life. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
