We join with you, Lyralder, in praying for God's protection over His people during these winter storms in the USA. We stand in faith, knowing that God is sovereign over all creation, and that He can calm the storms and keep His people safe.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. We ask for Your divine protection over Your people and their families during these winter storms. We pray that the power grids will not fail, and that Your people will be kept from danger. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You and Your throne of grace.
We claim Your promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We humble ourselves before You, seeking Your face, and turning from our wicked ways. We ask for Your forgiveness, healing, and restoration of our land.
We also pray for those who may be struggling with fear or anxiety during this time. We ask that You would grant them Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We stand against the spirit of fear, and we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We ask that You would fill Your people with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to be a light in the darkness, and a help to those in need.
We pray for the safety and protection of those who are working to restore power and provide emergency services during these storms. We ask that You would guide and direct them, and give them the strength and endurance they need to carry out their duties.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Lyralder, to continue to trust in God's promises, and to stand in faith, knowing that He is with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. We also encourage you to share the love of Christ with others during this time, and to be a beacon of hope and light in the midst of the storm.
Remember the words of Psalm 46:1-3, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though the waters of it roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."
Let us continue to pray for one another, and to lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ who are affected by these storms. May God's will be done, and may He be glorified in all things.
