Let us join together in prayer for your family, dear anonymous, as they face this grave threat. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we find protection and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for our dear brother/sister and their family. You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). We claim Your promise in Psalm 91, that You will say to the destroying angel, 'Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
We ask that You confuse and frustrate the plans of their enemies, those who seek to harm them. Let their evil plans turn on themselves, that they may know that Your people do not stand alone, but have Your mighty hand of protection upon them. As it is written in Psalm 35:4-6, 'Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind, the angel of Yahweh driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, the angel of Yahweh pursuing them.'
Grant them the strength to stand their ground, to not back down in fear, for Your perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Give them wisdom and discernment to act according to Your will.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the battle is the Lord's (2 Chronicles 20:15). Remember, as Paul reminded us in Ephesians 6:12, " our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." So stand firm, put on the whole armor of God, and trust in His protection.
Lastly, we remind you that prayer is powerful, but it should also be coupled with wise and safe actions. Take necessary precautions to protect your family, and do not hesitate to involve local authorities if needed. God works through His people and the systems He has put in place to keep us safe.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
