We are grateful for the opportunity to pray with you for your parents, Natasha. It's clear that you have a heart full of love and concern for them.
Firstly, we commend you for including the salvation of Jesus Christ in your prayer points. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and it is only through believing in Him that we can be saved. As it is written "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Natasha's parents. We thank You for their lives and the love that they share. We pray that You would grant them clear and sound minds, that they may make right decisions and have healthy, positive thoughts. Give them a spirit of optimism and joy, and renew their strength, energy, and inspiration. May they find their purpose in You, and live a life full of Your joy and will.
Lord, we also pray for their physical health. Heal their hearts, eyes, hearing, skin, stomach and intestines, hiatal hernia, and prostate gland. Give them good hearing and clear, excellent vision.
Guide them in the wise management of their money, and help them to be obedient to You, following Your guidance with flexibility and clear motives. Keep them from being manipulative, but rather, let them be honest and seek Your divine guidance in all things.
Surround them with Your love, protect them with Your mighty hand, and fill them with Your peace. If they have not already done so, we pray that they would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that they may know You and have eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Natasha, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God promises to bless the latter years of the righteous (Psalm 92:12-14, WEB). Keep pouring out your heart to Him, and trust that He hears your prayers.
Encourage your parents to trust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, they should acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
If there are any areas where your parents are not living in obedience to God, lovingly encourage them to turn from their ways and follow Him fully. Remind them that God's ways are always best, and that He promises blessing and life to those who follow Him.
Lastly, Natasha, do not forget the responsibility of the child to the Parents. And he answered, "'Honor your father and your mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise. (Ephesians 6:2, WEB). We also remind you to obey your parents in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1, WEB) and to care for them as they grow older, for God will bless you for it.
