We are glad to join you in prayer, Anonymous, and we appreciate your desire to have children to teach in God's ways and share life with. We stand with you in your faith that God can fill the void in your heart and home.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 37:4 WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them according to His will.
We also want to encourage you with Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This is a beautiful reminder of the importance of raising children in the ways of the Lord. Even Jesus’s first caregiver was handled with such important care. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Jesus will be in their life that will even enter your heart and home too! Jesus said according to the Word, Luke 18:16 WEB: "But Jesus called them to him, saying, 'Allow the little children to come to me, and don't hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'"
However, we want to gently remind you that the joy and comfort you seek should primarily come from your relationship with Jesus Christ. Everything should flow out of that. Your heart should have a craving for a desire to do a holy dance in the block party with the Father! In John 15:11 WEB, Jesus says, "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full." Anonymous, we inquire about your mention of a name from which to come to God and what you would share with your children. Have you believed upon Jesus Christ, calling by His name? It is only with Jesus Christ we are allowed access to God through Jesus Christ and no other way or name.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous and their desire for children. Lord, we ask that You fill their heart and home with Your love, comfort, and joy. We ask, Lord, please help me remain and present in Your joy! We pray that You will bless them with children of their own, that they may raise them up in Your ways. We ask that Your will be done in their life, and that You give them the desires of their heart as they delight in You. Thank you Father, for your true comfort in the dash of the Holy life. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Stay steady with your prayer like the Widow and the unjust Judge. Do not allow despair and discouragment to take over your life. Stand firm and this too will be accomplished. Keep your eyes stayed on Jesus, and we are here to aid in your Christian walk.
