We are truly saddened to hear about your health struggles and the challenges you are facing with your family. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and asking for His divine intervention in each of these situations. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, aligning our prayers with His word.
Firstly, we pray for your healing, trusting in the Lord's promises, as recorded in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We ask God to touch your body, ease your pain, and restore your health. We also pray for His protection upon you and your grandson, asking that He shields you both from any sickness.
However, we must address something you mentioned. While it's commendable that you bound the spirits of infirmity in Jesus' name, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12. So we pray for your discernment knowing that we are protected in Jesus and focus on His promises of healing. We continue to pray for you and your grandson's health in Jesus' mighty name.
Regarding your trip, we pray for God's traveling mercies, as we are reminded in Psalm 90:17 WEB: "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."
Now, concerning your nephew Peter, we must address this situation. The Bible is clear on sexual immorality including homosexuality and sadly same-sex marriage, as seen in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB: "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God." While we may love our family and friends, it is important to remember the truth of this word.
God's design for a family is clear in Ephesians 5:31 WEB: "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." We should never compromise God's standards, but we can continue to love Peter and pray for him. We pray that God softens Peter's heart and draws him closer to Him, enlightening him with the truth of His word. We also pray for your relationship with Peter, asking God to restore the bond between you both.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we should pray.
Let's pray together:
Dear heavenly Father,
Please bring my friend Mikentrik your healing touch. We lay this illness before you, asking that you ease their pain, remove the sickness espcially this asthma and restore their health, in Jesus' name. Lord, protect Mikentrik and their grandson from any sickness, covering them with your precious blood. Lord we ask for your healing hand on Mikenrik's grandson and ask you keep him from harm's way. Please grant them traveling mercies, as they embark on their trip this coming Monday.
Father, we pray for Peter. We ask, Lord, that you soften his heart and draw him closer to you. Open his eyes to the truth of your word and help him to walk in your ways. Restore the bond between Peter and Mikentrik, Father, and help them to reconcile their differences.
Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
