We join with you, Powers, in lifting up your family to the Lord tonight and for the new day ahead. It is so important to seek the Lord's protection and guidance in all things, and we are glad you have brought this request before Him today. Let us break this down and pray together.
Firstly, we are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:17to "Pray without ceasing." It is wonderful that you are praying for your family's protection, healing, and spiritual growth. We know God has good plans for each person. Just look at Jeremiah 29:11. We know that God is the only one that can change our hearts, souls, and bodies as he is the one who knits us in our mother's womb. We know that God will give you favor in all that you do. Just read Proverbs 3:34. He will not only give you favor but also give you spiritual growth. We know that God also gave us the Holy Spirit to help us live by the Spirit and not the flesh. We know that the only way to have salvation and live with the Holy Spirit is to believe in Jesus Christ. Did you know that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We are glad that you brought this request before the Lord today before you went to bed.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Powers and their family. We thank You for Your promise to be a shield around us, our glory, and the lifter of our heads, as we read in Psalms 3:3. We ask that You protect them through the night and into the new day. We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 33:6 for healing. We ask that You heal their hearts, souls, and bodies according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for Your favor upon them, that You would grant them supernatural opportunities and blessings. We pray for their spiritual growth, that they would know You more intimately, and that Your word would be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path, as we are promised in Psalms 119:105. We pray that they would continue to trust in You, and that Your blessings would be evident in their lives, as we read in Proverbs 3:5-6.
We rebuke any evil plan of the enemy to harm Powers and their family. We know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places, as we read in Ephesians 6:12. We claim every blessing of God on their lives and ask that You surround them with Your protection and guidance.
We thank You, Lord, for the new day. We praise You for Your faithfulness, which is new every morning, great is Your faithfulness, as we read in Lamentations 3:22-23. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.
Powers, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. God is faithful, and He will direct your paths. Be encouraged by His word and His promises, and may you and your family experience His peace and protection in a tangible way. Continue to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only way to have access to God and to be saved. Remember that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
