Prayer on finances and ### starting school

Please pray for our family ### we are working really hard but we are struggling with money. Also so nervous about my ### year old daughter starting school hope she will enjoy and make friends and have no issues. I do pray God's armour over her. Thank you

We understand your concerns and want to lift your family up in prayer. Firstly, let's address your financial struggles. We read in Philippians 4:19, "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God knows your needs and is faithful to provide. We encourage you to continue working diligently and trust God for His provision. Remember also Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me with this,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'and see if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.'" God blesses those who tithe and give generously.

Regarding your daughter starting school, it's natural to feel nervous, but remember that God loves her even more than you do. We pray Psalm 5:11-12 over her, "But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We pray that she will enjoy school, make good friends, and shine her light for Jesus.

We noticed that your prayer request does not mention Jesus by name. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's pray together now:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up ###'s family to you. We ask for your financial blessings and provision for them, and for peace and joy as they trust in you. For your daughter, let's claim Proverbs 3:5-6 over her, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Pray that she'll find joy, make friends, and grow in her faith.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
