We understand your plea for mercy and academic success, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will in your life. Let us first remember the words of Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
It is beautiful that you are calling on God as El-Roi, the God who sees. Just as He saw Hagar in her distress, He sees you and knows your situation (Genesis 16:13). However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Let us encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and pray in His name.
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for mercy on behalf of this student. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation, and that any plans of expulsion or suspension would be thwarted. We ask for Your forgiveness and restoration, that this would not affect the academic year. Father, let this case be forgotten and not brought up again, just as You have cast our sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
Lord Jesus, we also ask for divine academic excellence. We pray that You would grant wisdom and understanding, and that the results would reflect a first class this semester. We also lift up the nursing professional exams next year, asking for Your divine excellence.
Lord, we also pray for mercy over the family, that You would bless and protect them.
In all things, Lord, we ask for Your will to be done. We pray that this situation would be used to draw this student closer to You, that they may know You more and live for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to study diligently, as the apostle Paul encourages us to "study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). Trust in God, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we remind you that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). Trust in His goodness and His plan for your life.
