Prayer of Healing

I would like to request a prayer for my dear cousin who is now in ICU, half body paralyzed, has blood clot in brain and kidney problem.

We are truly sorry to hear about your cousin's condition, Tonyo, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. In times like these, we remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. As a group, we believe in the power of prayer and the promise of God's word, which tells us:

"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:13-15 WEB)

Firstly, we should always pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, humbly seeking Your healing touch for our dear cousin. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We pray against the paralysis, the blood clot in the brain, and the kidney problem. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would stabilize their condition and begin the healing process.

We also pray for the medical team attending to them. Guide their hands and give them wisdom to provide the best care. We pray for comfort and peace for the family during this challenging time.

Lord, we also take this opportunity to pray for our cousin's salvation if they have not already accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We pray that this situation would draw them closer to You, and that they would experience Your love and grace in a profound way.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Together, we encourage you, Tonyo, to trust in God's goodness and mercy. Remember that He works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose. Keep your faith strong, and don't hesitate to reach out for support.

"Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is near. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We're here with you, Tonyo, lifting your cousin up in prayer. We've been reminded of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this over your cousin, believing that God will heal and restore their body, mind, and spirit.

We're praying for a swift and complete healing, for the blood clot to dissolve, and for the kidney problem to be resolved. We ask that God would guide the hands of the medical team, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. We also pray for your cousin's family, that they would find comfort and peace in God's loving arms during this challenging time.

We're reminded of God's unfailing love in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." We trust that God's love and faithfulness will see your cousin through this trial.

Let's keep praying together, Tonyo, and trust in God's goodness and mercy. He's got this, and we're in this together.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
