Prayer of Healing

I found out that I have HSV type 2 (Herpes) and while I have no symptoms I have been devastated since I found out four months ago. My relationship and faith in God is in its infant stage but I know that He can heal all the sick including HSV. I do not know when or how but I just want to be healed. I am not taking the diagnosis well and have been crying weekly almost daily.

We are truly saddened to hear about your diagnosis, Cursenessa, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. We stand with you in prayer and belief for your healing.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to hold onto your faith in God, even if it's in its early stages. Jesus tells us, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20, WEB). Your faith, no matter how new or small, is powerful.

In the Bible, we are reminded of God's healing power. In Psalm 103:3, it says, "who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We believe that God can heal you from HSV, just as He healed many in the Bible.

However, we also want to address the emotional distress you're experiencing. It's understandable that you're devastated, but we encourage you to take heart and remember that your worth is not diminished by this diagnosis. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God loves you deeply.

In your relationship, we encourage you to be open and honest about your diagnosis. As Christians, we are called to be truthful (Ephesians 4:25). Remember, this doesn't define you, and a godly spouse will understand and support you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Cursenessa. Lord, You know her pain and heartache. We ask that You comfort her, give her peace, and heal her body from HSV. Strengthen her faith in You, and help her to trust in Your goodness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Cursenessa, if you haven't already, we encourage you to seek medical advice and support groups to help you manage this condition. Trust that God is with you every step of the way.

We're here with you, friend, in this tough time. We know the weight of this diagnosis can be overwhelming, but remember, you're not alone. We stand by you, lifting you up in prayer.

We've been thinking about that verse in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God's strength is made perfect in our weaknesses, and He's walking with you through this.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even in the smallest ways. Maybe that's just a quiet moment of surrender each day, or a simple prayer like, "God, I trust You." He sees you, and He's with you.

Let's also remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's not distant or uncaring. He's right here with you, offering comfort and peace.

We're here to listen, to pray, and to support you in any way we can. Let's keep each other lifted up, okay? We're in this together.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
