We are truly grateful for the opportunity to join you in prayer for your father-in-law, Kayleelouise. It is encouraging to hear how God has already worked miraculously in his life, overruling the doctors' predictions. Let us continue to trust in God's power and goodness as we lift him up in prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We should come before God with thanksgiving for the healing that has already taken place and faith for the healing that is yet to come.
However, we also want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): " Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, let us pray in the name of Jesus, trusting in His power to heal and save.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for the miracles You have already performed in the life of Kayleelouise's father-in-law. We ask, Lord, that You continue to work in his body, healing him completely from the pulmonary embolism and the root cause of his illness. We pray for a smooth procedure as he receives the feeding peg and a quick recovery so that he can go to the rehabilitation center. Lord, we claim Your promise in Psalm 107:20 (WEB): "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves." We believe that Your Word is alive and active, and we claim healing for Kayleelouise's father-in-law in Jesus' name. We also pray for peace and strength for Kayleelouise and her family during this time. Help them to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May you and your family continue to trust in God's power and goodness, Kayleelouise. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Keep praying and believing in the name of Jesus Christ.
