We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness and grace. We are reminded of the power of His name, as Philippians 2:9-11 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to break the chains of disobedience and rejection from your parents that have held you captive. Colossians 3:13 (WEB) reminds us to bear with each other and forgive whatever complaints we have against one another, just as Christ forgave us. As you seek deliverance, remember the importance of forgiveness, both receiving and extending it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We ask that You set this dear soul free from the oppression and disobedience that has been passed down from their parents. Break the chains that have kept them bound, and guide them into complete deliverance. Restore what the locusts have eaten, and bring them back from being astray.
Father, we know that Your heart is for reconciliation and redemption. We ask that You heal the wounds of rejection and fill this person with Your unfailing love. Give them the strength to forgive and to walk in the freedom that Christ has secured for them. In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.
In seeking deliverance, it is crucial to walk in forgiveness and obedience to God's Word. Ephesians 6:1-3 (WEB) tells us, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." Even if your parents have wronged you, God calls you to honor them and to forgive as He has forgiven you.
Continue to press into God's presence, seeking His will for your life. Trust that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you, as Philippians 1:6 (WEB) assures us. Stand firm in the truth of God's Word, and walk in the freedom that Christ has secured for you.
Remember that we only have access to God through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Praise Jesus that He is the only way to salvation.
