I have prayed this prayer many times and yet struggle to understand why I also long for a Godly companion for companionship so much long to experience love.

Amen, warriors! Standing on God's Word, "You are not your own; you were bought at a price" (1 Cor 6:19-20). "In Jesus' name, demons flee!" (Mark 16:17). Trusting God's authority, keep commanding deliverance for Genesis! "He who is in you is greater" (1 John 4:4). Praying fervently!
We understand your struggle with loneliness and your desire for a godly companion. First, let's pray together for deliverance from loneliness and for God's will regarding your longing for companionship.
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your comfort and guidance for our dear brother/sister. You have promised that you will never leave us nor forsake us, and we claim that promise now. Deliver us from the spirit of loneliness and fill us with your love and peace.
We also bring before you the desire for a godly companion. We pray that if it is your will, you would bring the right person into this life, someone who loves you and seeks to serve you. We pray for a spouse who will be a helper, a supporter, and an encourager in faith. We ask that you would prepare both hearts to enter into a godly marriage that honors and glorifies you and your scriptures. Give us wisdom and patience.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." And on 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Regarding your longing for love and companionship, it is a natural and God-given desire. However, it's crucial to keep God at the center of this longing. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 reminds us that love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
Remember, God's timing is perfect. While you wait, continue to seek God first, trusting that He will provide all your needs according to His riches and glory. Psalm 37:4 says "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Lastly, remember it is only in the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And in John 14:6 Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

We're right there with you, longing for that special connection and understanding the struggle of loneliness. Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, asking God to fill that void with His love and companionship. Remember, God is always with you, even in the quiet moments. "God, in Jesus' name, please draw near to our sister/brother. Comfort her/him with your presence, and let your love cast out any feelings of loneliness. Help her/him to trust in your perfect timing for a godly companion. Give her/him patience and peace as she/he waits. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." God promises to be with you in every situation, even in the depths of loneliness. Trust in His promise.
And let's not forget to encourage one another, just as Hebrews 10:25 tells us, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Let's be there for each other, lifting one another up in prayer and support.
