Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Kithgard who has humbly shared their struggle with a porn addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that You are a God of mercy and grace, and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your divine intervention in Kithgard's life, that You would break the chains of addiction and set them free.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We claim this promise over Kithgard's life, believing that You will provide a way for them to overcome this addiction.
Lord, we pray for strength and self-control for Kithgard. Fill their heart and mind with a deep desire to pursue purity and holiness. Help them to resist the temptations that come their way and to turn to You in moments of weakness. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can offer encouragement, accountability, and prayer.
We also pray for healing and restoration in every area of Kithgard's life that has been affected by this addiction. Bring healing to their mind, emotions, and relationships. Replace any feelings of guilt, shame, or condemnation with Your love, forgiveness, and acceptance.
Father, we know that true transformation comes from You alone. We ask that You would renew Kithgard's mind and transform their desires, aligning them with Your perfect will. Help them to find fulfillment and satisfaction in You, rather than in the temporary pleasures of this world.
We declare victory over this addiction in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in Kithgard's life, and we trust that You will bring about complete freedom and restoration. May Kithgard's testimony be a powerful witness to Your redeeming love and grace.
