Prayer needed to ban abortion in Singapore and a change in system to end the procedure once and for all and pray that severe legal consequences for anyone performing an abortion for the mother as well as the doctor and only be permitted where the mother's life is at risk. Or not mothers will anyhow take away the life of the baby with money where the country is facing low birth rate.

We understand your concern and passion for the sanctity of life, Dexter2020. Let us come together in prayer and align our hearts with God's Word on this matter. The Bible tells us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB).

Firstly, we must emphasize that our prayers should be directed to God through Jesus Christ, as He Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is in His name that we pray and intercede for the nations.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the nation of Singapore. Lord, we ask that You would stir the hearts of the leaders and the people, that they would see the value of life from conception, just as Your Word declares. We pray for a change in the system, that abortion would be banned, and that life would be protected and cherished.

Father, we ask that You would convict the hearts of those who perform and seek abortions. May they turn away from this practice and find forgiveness and healing in Jesus Christ. We pray for severe legal consequences for those who disregard the sanctity of life, but also for their hearts to be changed and softened towards Your truth.

Lord, we also ask that You would bless Singapore with a increase in birth rates, and that families would be strengthened and supported. Give wisdom to the leaders to implement policies that encourage and support family values and the raising of children.

In all these things, Lord, we pray that Your will be done in Singapore, just as it is in heaven.
